The best taxi service in Kalimpong. From the day we landed in Kalimpong in ITC Fortune until our last day 8 days later, Suman's taxi service was impeccable. Three words that most accurately describe his local transport/ sightseeing service are punctuality, conscientiousness and care for the tourists. That of course includes how much they want you to be comfortable throughout the rides. The driving is extremely safe, and they know the local spots well. I am not someone who trusts someone's recommendations during a planned travel that easily, but I am happy our family trusted Suman with all he had to show about his beautiful terrain. Be it Kalimpong or the places around it some of which are really offbeat, he and his team are outstanding. Strongly recommended.

Suman ji ensured that all the vehicles reached on time as per commitment .All vehicles were in good condition and it made our travel a lot easier . Before booking with Kalimpong Suman Tour and Travels we had done online booking through portals which were cancelled at the last minute due to non availability of vehicles but there were no issues with all the bookings through Suman ji . I would recommend anyone going to Darjeeling / Gangtok to directly book with the taxi services and not the portal to ensure they have a stress free travel.

We are very satisfied with Mr.Suman Rai and his service. We used his sevices from 2 to 5 May 2025.
We didn't have to face any problems, anytime during the trip.
On the 2nd day of our visit,we did Kalimpong sightseeing and Mr.Suman covered all points, guided us to good restaurants and washrooms and patiently gave us enough time to explore Kalimpong.
The next day, following his suggestions, we visited Lava, Rishap, Changey falls, which are slightly offbeat. Mr. Suman drove very well, shared lot of information, and we are happy we took this trip.
Mr. Suman is punctual, helpful and very polite.

Recently, we visited Kalimpong on a 2-day trip starting on June 20th. We hired a cab service from Mr. and Mrs. Suman, who proved to be very responsive and reliable.
Due to a landslide on Kalimpong and Sikkim NH10, we were considering canceling our trip. However, after discussing with Mr. Suman, he suggested taking the LAVA route as an alternative, which, although taking 2 hours longer, was safer. We agreed to this plan.
Mr. Suman was punctual in receiving us from Siliguri. He is a safe driver with excellent general knowledge and is very sociable. Throughout our journey, it was evident that he is well-recognized by many people.
This trip was a family outing for us, including our 10-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter. Mr. Suman’s choice of songs was perfect for our hill journey, making the trip even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend Mr. Suman for anyone planning a tour of Kalimpong. We wish him and his wife the best of health.

Excellent prompt service you wish to use a cab for self and family for airport pick up and drop. And, if you wish to use a vehicle to travel to Gangtok or Darjeeling or anywhere in the hills. We used an innova as it served our purpose. Else, he has good well maintained maruti wagonr which is a popular vehicle here. Hassle free and without stress. When he is not available his partner Chitra steps in to ensure super service. Must use of you are landing in Bagdogra Airport and travelling to Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kalimpong, Bhutan, Nepal or anywhere in the hills.

Kalimpong taxi is owned by Mr. Suman and Mrs. Suchitra. When I have to write about Suman, I have no words to describe how professional, polite, punctual, flexible and nice person he is. We really enjoyed our Kalimpong local sightseeing with him. I have no words to thanks Suman for his all round help during our stay in Kalimpong. Price of the cab is optimal. Suman's car was very clean and well maintained. Many thanks to Suman. Just one point of concern: the other cars Mr. Suman sent for NJP to Kalimpong transfer and Kalimpong to Gangtok transfer were not very good. Drivers were ok though. On the last day, the car he sent was very very dirty. We did not go by that car and we hired another car through the hotel. I think Mr. Suman has some kind of partnership or something with other drivers of Kalimpong, however he does not have full control on them. It's alright. You can choose cars. Nevertheless, the car owned by Suman is really good. Moreover he himself takes care of tourists very well. I recommend everyone to use his services.

My wife, daughter and I recently returned from a trip to Dooars and Kalimpong. Within a short notice Suman of "Kalimpong Suman Taxi Service" provided us with a rental car (Wagon R) for the whole day Kalimpong sightseeing and another one (Swift Dzire) for our return journey to Siliguri from Kalimpong. Both the drivers were skilled, well behaved and very cooperative. We got in touch with Suman Rai to provide us cars during our trip to Neora Valley and Kalimpong. Suman provided us excellent cars and very capable drivers who came dot on time. This was really great to ride with Suman Ji. He took care our Kalimpong travel in a great way. He is polite, knowledgeable and he knows how to take care his guests. I traveled with my wife and kid and as it was a small trip [2N 3D] so I wanted to cover maximum within this 3 days. He suggested me local sightseeing on the arrival day, next day we had been to Delo, Lava, Rishap. While return to njp on 3rd day he took us to Punbu village.
